The 14-year-old native of Williamsburg, Virginia, is in his first full season of Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series competition with TeamSLR after debuting at the final two races of the 2024 season at Virginia International Raceway in Alton, and Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The young McKee, driver of the No. 28 Spire Gainbridge/SLR-M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro, is a Chevrolet development driver under Josh Wise, Scott Speed and Lorin Ranier at the GM Technical Center in Concord, North Carolina. McKee got his first taste of TA2 competition at the age of 13 when he co-drove a TeamSLR M1 Racecars entry with his Team Chevrolet mentor Speed in the July 2024 exhibition All-Star Race at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. After turning 14 on Aug. 3, McKee became eligible to compete in officially sanctioned TA2 events and promptly turned in a solid performance at VIR, where he qualified sixth and held position among the leaders en route to a fourth-place finish, just .7 of a second behind the final podium position. At the COTA season finale, McKee was racing for another top-five finish when a cut tire dropped him to the back of the field. He rallied from 37th to finish 15th over the closing laps. In January, he signed a development agreement with Spire Motorsports and is also contesting a part-time CARS Tour schedule for Matt Piercy Racing. He became the CARS Tour’s youngest winner in the Pro Late Model division as a 12-year-old in 2023.
Barry Boes is in his seventh season competing in the Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series and second fulltime driving the No. 27 Accio Data/SLR-M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro. His first year with TeamSLR ended with the 54-year-old from Ooltewah, Tennessee, earning the TA2 Pro-Am Challenge championship with seven class victories in 12 events, starting with the Sebring opener and including a top overall finish of sixth in June at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington. In addition to last year’s Pro-Am title, Boes scored his first career TA2 Series Western Championship overall victory in July at Portland (Ore.) International Raceway in M1 Racecars equipment. He also scored a fourth-place finish in his No. 27 TeamSLR entry co-driving with retired NASCAR veteran Greg Biffle in the non-points SpeedTour All-Star Race in July 2024 at Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut. Earlier in his career, he was the 2019 SCCA Hoosier Super Tour GT2-class national champion, made his Stadium Super Truck Series debut at Road America in 2020, and was the 2021 World Racing League Eastern, Western, and National endurance race champion. Boes, who earned a bachelors degree in computer engineering from Mississippi State University, is CEO of Accio (pronounced AH-see-oh) Data and has more than 30 years of experience providing solutions to consumer reporting agencies. Since childhood, he’s been fascinated by high-performance, easy-to-use software and the productivity improvements they bring to their users.
The 19-year-old Day made his TA2 debut behind the wheel of the No. 17 HendrickCars.com/SLR-M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro at the 2025 season opener at Sebring (Fla.) International Raceway. He first made his mark at the highest levels of Sprint car competition, then moved through the Late Model ranks to NASCAR and the ARCA Menards Series. Last December, he signed a multiyear agreement with Hendrick Motorsports, for which he is currently driving a part-time NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule with additional events in the Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series. In March, Day scored a thrilling victory over Hendrick teammate Kyle Larson in a Kubota High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series event on The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. As a 15-year-old in 2021, the native of Clovis, California, became the youngest winner in the USAC National Midget Series, and last year was a five-time winner in the High Limit series. He also was tabbed to drive a Late Model for JR Motorsports last year and promptly scored a dominating victory in just his second start for the team at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway. He competed in four NASCAR Truck Series races in 2024 with a best finish of 16th in October at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and added three ARCA Menards Series races with a best finish of fourth in the September race at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City.
Carson Brown, the 16-year-old from New London, North Carolina, made his Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series debut at the 2025 season opener at Sebring (Fla.) International Raceway, where he drove the No. 8 PayCafe/Ebb Logistics/SLR-M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro to an eighth-place finish. He’s shown his versatility over his almost five-year racing career, which started in Legend cars and has included Microsprints, off-road trucks, and most recently World of Outlaws and Lucas Oil Late Models. He was last year’s pavement Pro Late Model champion at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, and in February scored a pair of victories at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway in his first week ever competing in Super Late Models.
