“The XGT and the TA2 cars were pretty even here today at Sonoma, so it was a lot of fun to race with them. We had a great M1 Racecars/Fields Racing Chevrolet Camaro. Our race was pretty hectic because the weather went from one side of the rainbow to the other. I wish the rain would’ve stayed a little more because on those slick tires and with the elevation changes, it made the race really fun. This was my first time racing at Sonoma and I really fell in love with the track.”

Connor Mosack, Driver No. 28, TeamSLR

“Overall, we had a pretty good race. We ran up front and were competitive. We had a caution about mid-race and I tried to make a pass for the lead on my teammate, but I didn’t want to be too aggressive. After that, I started to lose the front end and picked up a bad vibration. It would’ve been tough to get to Sam after that but, thankfully, we had a big gap behind us so we just rode around and brought the Nic Tailor/IFS M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro home second.”
