Connor Mosack, Driver No. 28 High Point University/Nic Tailor Custom Fit Underwear/Interstate Foam & Supply/TeamSLR/M1 Racecars Ford Mustang:
“I feel like we maximized the finish for our car today. We were comfortable in third for a lot of the race, but lost position when restarts got crazy and cars were firing early. We kept the car in one piece though, and can build on this for Sonoma next weekend.”
Jack Wood, Driver No. 27 TeamSLR/M1 Racecars Chevrolet Camaro:
“It definitely was a character-building weekend. We wrecked the car the first session and got it back on track. In the race, we had a lot of short-run speed and were able to make up six positions in the first corner. And then the car got really tight and ended up breaking a rear end to take us out of the race. Proud of these guys for all their fight to get us back on track. Looking forward to taking this momentum to Sonoma.”
