Connor Mosack, Driver No. 28, TeamSLR:

“I think we had a really good car all weekend. We had to qualify in the rain yesterday, and we were the only ones on wet tires at the end. We were fast and we were up in the top-five for a little bit. Come race time, it was pretty hooked up right at the beginning and we were pretty much able to get right to the top-three and just kind of rode there. I felt like we were getting a little too free as the race went on, but it was pretty good. Struggled with a pass of the 86 car (Adam Andretti) for a long time and I think I used it up pretty good getting by him, finally, but I wasn’t really able to drive away from him like I thought I would. Just had no rear grip, so maybe being in dirty air was helping me be not so free because as soon as I was out in clean air, I was just sideways everywhere. Thankful to have my first podium. Thought we would be a little bit better, maybe second, but I think we’ll have good speed going into Road America next weekend and, hopefully, we can get our first win there.”
